First thing; Hope your family member gets better,(: Second Thing; It's kinda what us students do. Annoying teachers is really fun, and you shouldn't take it personally, because they'd have done it to any other teacher. Yep, us students pretty much suck.(;

Dont be a bitch to your students. Be nice to your students and they'll b nice to you. My 4th grade teacher quit because the first day if school she called me lazy and irresponsible. Ive maintained a 3.0-4.0 for 4 years straight. She quit second week of school. Im not saying kiss thier ass, just be nice and do more fun stuff. Hope your family member turbed out ok

All students cheer whenever ANY teacher goes away. I don't know why? But students always like substitute teachers.. Don't beat yourself up.
