I hope they feel better but if they cheered.. there has to be something they don't about your teaching. I'm 17, I would know. I have a fun but great teacher & trust me we don't cheer when she takes days off.
This reminded of a story a friend told me. Everyone in his class cheered when they found out their English teacher fell down some stairs and was going to be gone for a week. He proceeded to sing "No One Mourns The Wicked" from Wicked.
you must really be an ass
I remember cheering with the rest of the class when we found out our teacher might have cancer. YDI apparently.
I guess u won't be making, "Teacher of the month"
it's ok. they were just happy they were going to be slacking off for the time you were gone trust me, my class does it alll the time. and I hope whoever is sick gets better :)

You shouldn't take that personal, students are always glad when the teacher is gone because it means less work and less rules (:
4, Maybe if you actually paid attention in class, you'd understand that it's "threw" not "throwed". You learn that in elementary school.
