Today, I took a box of Halloween decorations down from the attic. Inside, were a bunch of fake spiders. I emptied the box onto the floor and the "fake" spiders crawled all over the living room in opposite directions. FML

I would have totally freaked out, because I am terrified of spiders. But weren't they moving while you were carrying the box? Or did they think "Hey, let's stay still so that he thinks we are fake, and when we get to the living room we can escape!"...

Really? I think I'd temporarily go insane and start stomping in every direction I could, provided I was wearing shoes. I don't want those things breeding in my house! Now if I wasn't wearing shoes, then I probably would run outside and refuse to go back in until my husband found and killed them all. Rational? No. But when it comes to creepy crawlers and spiders in particular, I'm not really concerned with appearing rational...

Hahaha, funny comment! xD I hate spiders too. The other day whilst hoovering behind my bedroom door a tarantula-sized spider scuttled away. Almost had a heart attack... But yeah, at least those spiders really brought the message of Halloween home for you. I'd've stomped on them too

OP is from Hawaii! These could be massive spiders (and 4 native types are poisonous). Cane spiders alone can be 3-4 inches wide, can grow to the size of a softball and have been known to chase people around rooms! *shudder*
