I wouldn't miss the opportunity to take my daughter's embarassment even further. I'd reply immediately with: "Not so fond of incest, but since you put that much effort on it, I'll give it a go.", and proceed to make fun of her in every opportunity. This would take the drama out of it, and we'd just laugh it off.

Maybe it's because I don't have a smart phone and neither of my parents text, but I never understand HOW people manage to send inappropriate texts to the wrong person. Is it really THAT hard to check that you have the right name?

It's not at all...Whenever I've sent texts even of a slightly sensitive nature (not even nude pics, just information I don't want shared with the world), I always make sure it's sent to the right person. I definitely have accidentally sent casual texts to the wrong person, like simple responses, greetings, and small talk. So yes, it's easy to select the wrong person, but no, I would not just casually hit the button without looking if I were sending a pic of myself wearing a whipped cream bra.
