#47 wins this thread.
Was it her first time? If she doesn't know how to drive, she's not going to know how to go safely around a corner. There was no need to be a dick about it, you should have just explained how to do it. Yelling only ensures that more mistakes will be made because she's under so much pressure.
I'm also 15 years old and when i first went driving with my dad he could not stop yelling at me. so just lay off a bit man. because its hard to drive when someone keeps yelling at you.
YDI for letting a 15 year old drive! A lot of my friends' parents let them do that in a parking lot or something, but my parents are responsible and are keeping me away from the wheel until I get my L. (I wouldn't go behind it, anyway. I don't want to have a record, even if it is only temporary.)
Lololololol. In a lot of places 15 is the age for permits, not 16. Don't make assumptions.
Total YDI.I'm 15 too, and my dad yells at me sometimes too when were driving! I take criticitsm very personally and I almost cry a lot when I practice, it's stressful or me enough already and screaming isn't gonna help anything. Too bad my dads a great driver so he probably won't be a hypocrite. :/ so be calm when driving with your daughter, yelling will only make things worse.
i know it's scary when you're a passenger in a car so you can't control anything and it looks like the driver's about to make a dangerous turn or something. but still, don't be a dick and yell. when i learned to drive, i got my uncle to teach me (he's a certified instructor) and he never raised his voice. it kept me calm and i was comfortable so i learned a lot faster.
Well atleast she knows how NOT to drive
Part of learning how to drive is having your dad yell at you over every minor mistake you make. It's how you get better, I know I'd be a shit driver if my dad had coddled me when teaching me right from wrong on the road.

I feel sorry for your daughter having such a shit teacher.
You really shouldn't criticize someone, especially your daughter, when the same thing could potentially happen to you. YDI
