I've always found it a little strange that Americans teach their own kids how to drive, we have professionals in specially altered cars to do that and we have about 1% of your amount of traffic accidents caused by people under 25. It's seems a little reckless
we have driving schools too with cars that have brakes on the passenger side, but it's totally optional. Parents can choose to teach their kids themselves if they prefer to.
same here in Australia, anyone can teach you as long as they've got a full license and not lost it at all in the last 12 months or something, or you can use a driving instructor
another thing is cost... teaching your own kid costs like $30 for materials... driving school is usually upwards of $400
Grand Theft Auto makes driving and picking up hookers so easy.
And this helps in the real world how?
Mom taught me in park. Left turn, right turn, brakes.... Then she took me to a school or library late at night and let me drive After we got to the parking lot! Not before.
Well that makes sense, considering the rise in danger at night. It would be much easier to get into a wreck. A parking lot is a good compromise to learn about night driving without wrecking your car.
I already knew how to drive before I took drivers lessons. After the first road hour, the guy just took me around to do some of the stuff from the more advanced driving classes he taught. And that's the story of how I learned how to do 180's and 360's.
Ooh, that's bad... But I guess it's better she does that in front of you than with her driving teacher. I hope no one got hurt!!
I fell her pain I can't drive for shit. I'm 17 and still don't have my permit hahah. But that sucks OP better luck next time if there is one ehh?
"Ease into it... And the car's totaled"
Accuracy... It's what we have at one point in our life.
Pleeeeeeeease don't let her get her license until after at least 5 more years of practice. Think of us other people on the road and our insurance premiums.
