She had a full on temper tantrum and ranted about healthy eating, and how she’s “fat” and needs to lose 30 pounds, all because I suggested Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner. She stormed out of the house. I don't really think that's fair though. He just wanted a bite of her food. He didn't ask anything unreasonable and definitely not rude. Sure some girls are sensitive about their weight, but the way his gf reacted is totally overboard. She seems to have some serious self-image issues, and rather than just buying his own food to avoid the problem, I think it would be better for him to talk to her about her issues. Her insecurities won't just disappear, and if he doesn't support her and help her face them, they'll only get worse.
