I wanted to click 'your life sucks' then realized I'm also 31 and single, my younger sister is getting married in a few months and will likely be in the same situation. oh well! haha
well the tradition is not only for single ladies but rather for ALL unmarried ladies to see which one is next but dont feel bad op its better to wait and marry the right person than to follow the societies view of the right time to get married and end up divorcing a few years later...
That happened to me too. I didn't catch it.
I bet a lot of girls in a relationship wished they were in your shoes right now!
Could be worse - I'm getting divorced for the second time at 31!
So what if your 31? You have your freedom what .
Stay single, OP. Best advice no one ever gave me.
I, too, am turning 31. Been with my boyfriend for 9 years. The majority of my friends who met their significant others after I started dating my boyfriend already got married (and most have kids). Weddings are getting to be super awkward for me too and I don't go for the bouquet toss because I don't want to make my boyfriend feel like I'm pressuring him. But yeah, I get asked at every holiday/wedding/party (and even random conversations) when my boyfriend would propose. .. so I totally feel ya! But I still do believe that there is nothing wrong with being single at this age. Chin up OP!
