Today, I totalled my car. I flipped it over on the freeway and broke my collarbone in the process. I was in extreme pain and unable to move. It took the ambulance an hour to get there in rush hour traffic. The song repeating on my iPod was, "Don't Worry, be Happy." FML

Da docta says your bone did break... he might have to litigate.. so don't worry... be happy. ;)

As long as you are happy, you heal faster. Consider it a helping hand on the way to recovery.

You'd think what with the crash and broken bones and waiting an hour for help, surely Don't Worry Be Happy would be the silver lining in all of this...?

well first you can't wear your headphones while driving, its pretty damn illegal douchefag

The point of the iPod is YOU have the power to choose what's on it, so you NEVER have to hear garbage that irritates the shit out of you. That's why I have one song on my iPod, Debby Boone's "You Light Up My Life." It is the pinnacle of achievement in the world of music, everything before and after it are crap.

Mercy, Debby Boone ate Karen Carpenter's lunch!

I am sure that they actually like the song... the fact that it was playing repeatidly probably annoyed them under the circumstances.

Everything are? Grammar fail.

I'm gonna have to go with both FML and YDI here. Obviously you and your car got pretty damaged, and that sucks even if you did deserve it. However, this is definitely a YDI because you are clearly a terrible driver since you somehow managed to be driving so carelessly that you flipped your car... "in rush hour traffic"?

WTF? How the hell did you flip your car on the interstate? Unless you have exceptionally bad luck, there's likely to be at least some small part of that which happens to be your fault, even if others were involved. The song's right about one thing though - you're probably lucky to be alive.

Yeah, try flipping 5 times on the highway and breaking both of your femurs, damaging your right arm, and puncturing your ankle, just to spend a month in the hospital. While your sister gets out with a bruise when she was the one driving.

I didn't realize this was a contest of one-upmanship.
