I rarely think people deserve it on here but this is what happens when you don't research how to dye your hair. Never tie it up in a bun/ponytail/anything bloody else.
First of all you are bleaching your hair so you can COLOR it. Second, anytime you go to bleach hair it should be left loose not put in a bun. That is a good way to chemically cut some of your hair if you aren't careful. And third, black is the hardest color to strip out of hair and it should be done by a professional, so you don't end up frying your hair, especially since you want to be a blonde.
YDI for going from black to blonde
And that's why you should see a professional. Cheap hair isn't good. Good hair isn't cheap. Same with beauty therapists.
you are probably that dumb girl who knows nothing. you deserved it. lol
next time get someone who knows what they're doing to help. Think mechanic is to car style, then the can show you. Not just for hair all things in life, you wouldn't go parachuting by your self without an instructor showing you first.
Never do your hair at home if you're changing it more than a couple shades, especially not trying to lighten black to blonde. My hair is naturally light blonde, but I've been considering going for the platinum look, but I haven't because I'd never do it myself (though I have gone darker and red, blonde is just best left to professionals )...plus, it's expensive to maintain. Also, never put your hair in a bunch while you're bleaching or dying it, that distributes the bleach or color unevenly. I hate to say ydi, since you now have a damaged mess on your head, but why in the world would you attempt to do this in the first place?
It's different shades because by putting it into the bum you effectively produced a tie-die effect Just work with it and say "I meant to do that" if anyone asks.

Um yeah, if you had black hair you have to bleach it first....that was your first mistake.
Yeah. Even if you were bleaching it, and not dying it, like you said you were, going from a natural dark color to a blonde typically won't yield desired results. Especially not with an at home kit. You're better off spending the money to have it professionally done.
