You can't put your hair up until the dye sets. That's your fault.
All you had to do is bleach it twice & tone it without conditioning it until you're done but your hair is gonna be supper frayed & fried. That's only if you wanted it to go right to blonde I've done it with black hair & red & it's tricky but can be done only to **** up your hair. Or you can just do the process of going blonde which is a lot healthier for your hair and more recommended.
I made this mistake in high school a looong time ago. Tried to go from box black to platinum and it was horrible. $100 and 8 hours to fix what I ruined in 10 minutes. I went platinum in May at a salon, my hair was healthy and I am all the happier for it. Expensive, but it didn't do any damage whatsoever. And the blonde/orange she is talking about people, is an awful color that cannot be pulled off. YDI, but you learn. Now don't let friends cut your bangs.
You deserved it, when you have dark colored hair you should always let someone do it who knows what she is doing. You can't lighten your hair so easily especially when it was dyed before.
he he you're a calico.
This is why you go to a professional.
next thing you know, you started a trend
Buy black hair dye and undo what you did
I would kill for a picture of that hair

Um yeah, if you had black hair you have to bleach it first....that was your first mistake.
Yeah. Even if you were bleaching it, and not dying it, like you said you were, going from a natural dark color to a blonde typically won't yield desired results. Especially not with an at home kit. You're better off spending the money to have it professionally done.
