Today, I tried the 'Casual Encounter' page on Craigslist. Three hours, a bunch of spam, and a 30-minute call to some company, speaking to some lady I could barely understand to recover the $40 somehow charged to my card. I think I might want to try other ways to meet people. FML

Today, I went on two dates from a dating app. The first one said halfway through that we couldn't date because it would break his contract. The second one catfished me. This is why I have multiple dates in one day. They never end well. FML

Today, I went on a date with someone I've been talking to online for weeks. Unfortunately, it turns out they'd used old photos and misrepresented themselves, and I didn't find them attractive at all. Even I'm not that desperate. We ended up having an awkward dinner and I couldn't wait for it to be over. FML

OKCupid. eHarmony. Tinder. PlentyOfFish. IMVU. You don't have to be lone-leeeee at FarmersOnly dot coooooom! Craigslist is for buying, selling, trading, discussing, job hunting, and ranting. There is no one there in the personals section other than gay or desperate (sometimes both!) men and robots hunting for your credit card digits. Yes, I'm speaking from experience. I was a lonely adult barely out of my teens, too.

Wh-what? How the hell did this happen? Okay, let me tell you something. You need to weed out bots by saying, "If you're real, put x in the subject." Also, you should always be wary. It's really not that hard to meet someone on there, you just have to use your head. And yes real women do use it, you just have to be patient.

Maybe try a dating site OP? I met the man I'm going to marry on Plenty Of Fish a year ago and I'm happier then I've ever been. It doesn't matter how you and the other person are brought together so long as y'all are both happy. Good luck finding companionship!
