blazon_paradox tells us more.
In the area I live and work it's very possible that a stray cat will be less than healthy. And as I own two cats I also don't want to carry fleas or ticks home to them. Also, and mostly this I think, I don't want to be attacked by a rabid animal- Adorable kitten or otherwise.

PSST, HERE KITTY KITTY KITTY!
How the heck did you confuse a cat and a skunk?
Hey pal, did you just blow in from stupid town?
there's a family of skunks in our hay loft I won't grab any more hay till they are outta there
49 - So you live in medieval times? Y. pestis is NOT a common microbe in any part of the world anymore, thanks to improved hygiene practices. If there was a place where an outbreak of the Black Plague arose, it would be huge news and both the CDC and the WHO would be all over it. You clearly know nothing about microbes.
Just looked it up. There were a few cases reported in NM since 2009, but it was only 12 people. The odds of getting bubonic plague are extremely low, not "very common".
What a ******* bitch
That's horrible #45! RIP black kitten, I love cats so it's hard for me to hear a cat, especially a kitten, die. ;(

There's a question being asked trying to figure out whether cats or skunks are better at sex? Oh, Internet, you never fail to surprise.
