I spent four hours on the phone with Apple one time at work. I was trying to prove to them that yes we did have AppleCare on one of our Macs. I had to talk to out administrative guys to get the paperwork, and then talk to Apple again. I was on hold for so long I didn't believe it when someone picked up.
Did you call her? Maybe
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
