No, she broke up with you cause you didn't have a car. Hopefully your next girlfriend is less shallow and more understanding. FYI @ 5 1/2 miles, you would have reached her house in another 8 to 10 minutes. You should have just told her that you were on your way and would be there in a few minutes

I agree. It's annoying to have to drive all the time because your partner doesn't have a car. Also what does that say about your cash/credit situation? It's a deal breaker for me, but I'm 26. I need someone more stable than that.

Well I could understand the break up if she was always having to go see you. But if she expects you to always be the one to make the effort to see her in person then forget her. I do wonder why you wouldn't have called before making that trip... Anyways. If you explained that you had just walked 5.5 miles to see her and she still ended it then there was another reason.

Lol I like it I'm assuming sarcasm but the funny part is people these days treat 6 miles like an insurmountable distance... I say congrats do that a jog and you can sign up for a 10k :)

#56, look at it this way. By foot, she's about 2 hours away. (Even if he jogged, it might be an hour and in Florida, he'd be sweating like a pig year 'round.) If he had a car, that would be like dating a girl over 100 miles away -- not very practical.
