Today, I walked into a restaurant with my parents to celebrate my Mom's birthday. They immediately got a kid's menu and crayons out for me. I'm 15. FML

Today, I ordered a beer with my parents at dinner. The waitress said, "Oh, happy 22nd birthday." My parents eyes got really big, and they started to blush. They'd forgotten it was my birthday. FML

Today, I was excited to go to a Japanese restaurant for my birthday. When the chef started doing tricks however, my spoiled brat of a sister started screaming and crying in terror. My parents insisted we leave and go to McDonald's because she was upset. She's 11. FML

Today, I went out to dinner with my boyfriend and his mom. The hostess asked if I needed "the kid's menu," remarked how I look "so grown up for your age," and asked what grade I was in. I said I'm in university. She laughed as if it was the best joke ever told. I'm 22. FML

Today, my parents took me to a bar to celebrate my 21st birthday. They brought my little brother, but when the bouncer wouldn't allow him in, they made me wait outside with him while they went in for drinks. FML

I don't know if this should ever be an FML, coloring is never a bad thing. Especially if you're only 15 and still only like 3 years over the max for the kid menu. I had a waiter come up to my table and say "what can I get you ladies to drink?" and I'm a guy. I think that might be worse. Then she laughed at me every time she walked by...

it's ok I got a kids menu until I was 19. and I still get carded for R rated movies at age 21. it happens people say we'll love it when we're older :)

I get the crayons all the time to play tic-tac-toe with whoever happens to be across from me. :p I'm 13, and my dad ALWAYS gets me the kids menu, even forces me to order from it usually. But my mom isn't like that, recently she started FINALLY getting me the adult menu...

omg this happens to me all the time! One time, I went out and had this really cute waiter. U had to go back there that weekend with my family and I got the childrens menu crayons ect...he was working =[
