Today, I walked into a restaurant with my parents to celebrate my Mom's birthday. They immediately got a kid's menu and crayons out for me. I'm 15. FML

I'm 20 and I always grab the crayons on my own. I like coloring.

Coloring and chicken fingers are the best. Not an FYL ;)

that's 3 years older than the average age of the oldest you can be to get the kids menu. It's really not that bad. At all. NOT FML WORTHY!!!

Once, I was out with my mother and my son, and I was breastfeeding him. A few people came up and yelled at my mom as to how she could let a 'child my age' have a baby. I am 20. And married. My mother told them to go to hell.

thats not the worst. you are like 3 years over. imagine being 20 and that happening. yep. it ******* sukcs at 20 just you wait!

I work at a restaurant and sometimes you really just cant tell. Why get pissed at us for it? Not and FML at all.

Hey, at least you got to please your parents by making them pay less at the restaurant!!

It happens. I'm 22, but last year I was on my way to class and just got off the train. A cop comes up to me as I was exiting the station to stop me and was about to take me in for cutting school. And it's happened more than once too. But it's funny to see their expression when they're wrong. Just think you'll look young when you're in your mid-30's. It's a huge plus. ;] Also, how can you not love those menus? I love coloring in those pictures with numbers on them to distinguish between the different colors. I like seeing what picture is behind all that in the end.

that shit pissed me off so bad...especially when i would drive places and go sit down and they whip out the crayons. last bitch to do that got the crayons thrown at her, and i demanded a regular person menu, as i was legally an adult at the time. then i left after getting my drink. asking is a little depressing, but far less offensive than when they assume that a 5'9, 185 pound 18 year old would prefer to order 'psgetti 'n' fries and color a ******* meatball than have a selection of food given to adults. ( and no i don't feel bad about being a prick to dumb bitches like this because i work in the restaurant industry and get plenty of shit thrown back my way)

I get this all the time. I'm almost 21.

Coloring is the shit. I don't know what the FML is. Kids menu food is better anyway. They wont let me order off the kids menu anymore :/
