That sucks OP, but at least you made a path for tomorrow.
well at least the snow wasn't too deep
I had to go to school in -15°F with snow up to my thighs:
-5 and snow, up to your ankles and the school actually closed?!?! That's it I'm moving to Ireland haha, here in southern Ontario if there's snow up to your knees and -20 your lucky if the school closes normally they just stop the buses, and out west if there's snow up to your hips and it's in the -40s your still going to school xD lol
I would have locked myself in my room the whole day until they were worried sick and when they finally ask me, "Why would you make us worry like that?!" I would respond with "I thought it would be funnier to spend the day this way." Emphasis on funnier when I say it.
It was up hill both ways
That like -20 Celsius, school here is Canada doesn't get cancelled unless it's like -40 Fahrenheit and as for snow, I don't know it's never snowed that much to close them, but I've walked with three feet of the ground.
Common sense would say that your school is closed

Hahaha -5? wow you would not survive in Canada. It was -40°C a couple weeks ago
All the way up to your ankles? GASP! Maybe if you walked to school on your hands that would be impressive, but otherwise, you should omit that detail.
