Don't go to any more family gatherings and let your family know why. Shame the person who did this.
Overheard something like this while ordering at starbucks... A woman was telling her friend how her son hosted a family gathering for her, a get well party, since she was previously sick. When the party was over, all her jewelry, money, credit cards were gone and the payments on them couldn't be removed. ******* sad how family can be like this to each other frankly.
JEREMY KYLE MOMENT! :O
Who would steal from their own family? Maybe it was someone who was married into the family, so not biologically your family. Anyway , as soon as you found out things were stolen you should've just stood up and asked who took it. Someone must of saw somebody do it. Also, don't leave your wallet out even if it is family.
The mother-inlaw for sure
Here take my feels
Seems I never stop hearing what terrors family members are this time of year. I'm so thankful we all get along pretty well in my family. I'm a bit nervous about my sister-in-law and her twin daughters coming home, however...
I would have mentioned it out loud to everyone
why do people steal from their own family memebers? smh...

What kind of arsehole steals from their own family?? I hope you find who did it OP.
I would make a general announcement that there is a thief in your midst. I wouldn't be surprised if a manhunt started and everyone is searched.
