Today, I was at a concert. It was dark and everyone was singing and waving their lit-up phones in the air. I was having a great time, until someone snatched my £200 phone out of my hand. FML

Today, I went to a gig. The drummer threw his drumsticks out at the end and I managed to catch one. With my face. Not only did I get a black eye, but the person next to me snatched the drumstick from my hands. FML

Today, it was the concert of my life. I had bought tickets the minute they went on sale, and I'd anxiously waited until the concert date. Thirty minutes before the show, my friend got so drunk that we weren't allowed in, and I was stuck babysitting her all night in the hotel, completely missing the show. FML

Today, at a concert, my friend grew tired of holding her bag. She asked a man to hold it, saying that he wouldn't steal it "since it was hers". I quietly told her she was too naïve and irresponsible. After the concert, I got home and noticed my wallet was stolen instead, right out of my pocket. FML

Today, I got on the bus and the driver said I didn't have to pay since the ticket machine was broken. I was happy to have saved £2.40 until i realised someone had stolen my new £700 phone while I was talking to the driver. FML

This is a YDI because why the **** do people wave their phones in the air at gigs? The camera phone paparazzi is irritating enough to start with, now this dumb trend makes it even worse. It's another sign of how detached we've become from anything real, visceral or emotional that we wave a piece of technology around like it means anything. Agreed with #133, bring back the Zippo!

That definitely sucks. You wouldn't think that people would grab your phone when everyone has theirs in the air; especially if they take it right out of your hand. However, you kind of deserve this for not turning around and going karate on their ass.
