Today, I was at a party, and someone called the cops on us. I dove into a bush that turned out to have thorns. I got multiple cuts and a sprained wrist, and got arrested anyway. Its kind of hard to hide from the police when you're screaming in agony. FML

Easiest game of hide and seek for them. Sorry for the rough night.

Oh it's a small world. I bet you're from hot springs, Arkansas. I heard on police scanner about a large underage party and someone getting full of thorns and a sprained wrist. Hahaha.

Hide and seek isn't too much fun to play when hiding from the cops...

If you got sent to prison. How did you upload this??

I've never heard of anyone going to prison for being at a party, that is unless they had illegal substances on them.

Why were they arrested in the first place? For throwing a party? Is someone kidding me?

The first things the cops do is round up the runners. They can't come in the house or backyard if it's fenced without permission or a warrant, which is unlikely. If you have reason to run and you're dumb enough to basically put a police target on your back by doing that YDI

Don't know where you got the idea, but reasonable suspicion is enough to search a house. They don't need a warrant or permission in the US if they believe something illegal is being done like underage drinking.

The police can enter without a warrant in "exigent circumstances", meaning they can just bust down the door if they hear (or pretend to hear) someone, say, someone running out the back, scrambling to destroy evidence, or calling for help.

Hasn't this Fml been published before? a couple of years ago

Well, the award goes to the genius hiding in bushes.

No dove as in the past tense of dive. As in to dive into a bush. But it also looks like Dove as in the bird. But context is everything buddy.

Or you could've jumped over a fence. But a bush full of thorns is alright
