Today, it was my Sweet 16. My cousin threw a tantrum in the middle of it. She popped balloons, threw chairs around, and threw my gifts off the balcony. Reason being, she turned 16 last year and didn’t get a party. She perhaps forgot that last year we were in a pandemic. FML

Today, I was babysitting my 5 year-old niece, and she was really down in the dumps because she didn't get invited to a birthday party. To cheer her up, I took her to Chuck E Cheese. Right when we arrived, we walked in on a birthday party. It was the one that my niece got denied from. FML

well happy birthday...belated. at least you got to spend it with family & again on the brightside, you're not grandma old yet... but you're not 'crapping in your pants' young anymore either. something to be happy about? i do believe so. enjoy all your birthdays while you're still out of diapers. :]

awwwh I'm soooo sorry.! I know exactly how you feel... well sorta. on my 10th "birthday party" I was homeschooled so I didn't have any friends at all and I spent my whole birthday sitting in this stairway area (I live in a hotel) and I was all depressed and then my parents got me this cheap mp3 player that doesn't even work and that was my only bday present.. so actually it could be A LOT worse
