So what? Who cares. Just because all those spoiled kids on MTV make a big thing of sweet 16's doesn't mean shit. It's not like your 18 or anything, you can't drink, drive or anything. So who cares really? Well... obviously nobody does care since you spent it practically alone. :-P
Uh, last I checked, 16 is the legal driving age.
Yeah, 16 is driving age. And 21 is drinking age, so it was stupid to mention that also. 16 is a milestone for a lot of people, because it's when you can drive, which means a lot of independence without quite being an adult yet.
Ok, never mind the driving thing. In UK it means you can only have a provisional license. Which still means you have to drive with someone who has a full license in the car with you. Oh and #42 I never said 18 was legal age to drink (even though it is in a lot of places), I said it wasn't like they were 18... and then quoted a few things they couldn't do. I wasn't saying you have to be 18 to do those things
16 is the legal driving age only in the US. But for the several billion people who don't live in the US, the legal driving age is 18 ;)
OP lives in the U.S., though, so it IS a milestone for them.
Consisted of... Who's the rest? Backgammon... Must... Have been fun.
that sucks, but happy birthday :)
that sounds like a pretty crazy party to me
Happy B-Day OP.

well happy birthday...belated. at least you got to spend it with family & again on the brightside, you're not grandma old yet... but you're not 'crapping in your pants' young anymore either. something to be happy about? i do believe so. enjoy all your birthdays while you're still out of diapers. :]
