Today, I was at the cafeteria of my school with my boyfriend and he dumped me. I was kinda expecting it. What I wasn't expecting was that he'd start running in front of everyone, screaming "FREEEEEEEEEDOM!" at the top of his lungs and that he'd kiss the first girl he saw. FML

#18 Braveheart *LOL* I wonder what influence watching that movie would have on immediately following breakups ^^ #16 Actually, girls are attracted to guys who somehow stand out of the crowd. And every girl will assume that she deserves better than that and it therefore won't happen to her. That's one of the reasons why they regularly prefer assholes: If a nice guy treats you nicely, it doesn't make you anything special, but if an asshole shares some nice moments with you, that's a compliment to you. It's a psychological constant. Even in Harry Potter, female fans prefer Draco over Harry ;) Also, from an evolutionary perspective, "bad boys" are more probable to kick ass if necessary. So if you are looking for someone who is able to protect you and your children, the friendly polite nerd is most definitely the last choice.

Well first of all the OP is a male. Secondly not alot of girls like "bad boys" if the girl is smart enough she'll know that they are doomed to break up sooner or later so she might as well look for a guy that she knows and respects well enough to be in a long term relationship. NAPTOWN FTW!!!!! GO COLTS!!!! js

I pick my guys with brains and the ability to coincide with me for a very long time. This one hasn't left yet ;). 9 months.

Haha shucks that was so mean of him. Then again, have you been holding him down with chains or something? Not that it gives him an excuse to do what he did - it's outrageous. Sucks for you, either way.

Girls don't need guys. Especially that kind of guy

Why do you women always jump to conclusions? How do you know he wasn't practicing for your school's production of Braveheart? *EDIT* Wow someone already took the braveheart reference. CURSES!

Take one of his pets and set it free. Then yell "FREEDOM" and kiss the first animal you see. (Unintentional rhyme)

what does that accomplish exactly?

You must be a horribly oppressive girlfriend. I for one applaud his revolution! Freedom indeed!

God damnit #20, that was gonna be my line >.

Uhm, wtf? Why are people saying the guy was bad? I mean if the girl was expecting the breakup obviously it wasn't just the guy's problem, and not only that but the girl realizes there's an issue and doesn't correct it. Judging by his enthusiastic response at being 'free' after her it's blatant she's a bad girlfriend, knows about it, and instead of correcting the problem just let it go. I say YDI
