Boot camp

By oohrahgal - 14/02/2019 16:32 - United States - Clementon

Today, my boyfriend graduated from boot camp. After the ceremony, I rushed over and tried to jump into his arms. This would have been romantic if he was expecting it. Instead, he fell over and we crashed onto the floor in front of everyone. FML

Does he have to repeat boot camp since he obviously didn't learn how to fend off a surprise attack? If some silly girl can knock him over, imagine what a crazed Al Qaeda terrorist would do to him! They work out on monkey bars!

It will def be a memorable moment.. One that you can laugh about for years to come!

I think i might be the only one who still thinks thats romantic...

Nah, 28... You're not the only one. It's still romantic in a clumsy "I can't wait to congratulate you" kind of way. Minus the boyfriend's impact fractures, of course.

Maybe he was expecting it but didnt show any sign of it, just to purposely fall on the ground for it to seem more romantic.

I fell over at my boot camp graduation too. But it was because I passed out. Embarrassing then but I can definitely laugh about it now. OP will be able to do the same.

I'm with you guys on this. Been there, done that, I thought it was fun and amusing.

Never lock your knees #35 ... Na I went to see my my bro graduate from boot camp I saw a bunch if people pass out

It's because you aren't allowed to show affection while in uniform.

28, I pictured the guy in your profile picture saying that. Lol

Shout his name next time, and Catch his attention!

Even then jumping into anyones arms is setting yourself up for possible failure....

#17 no not really. I once jumped into the arms of one of my guy co-worker. I have never done hat before and he was surprised but still caught me and we didnt fall over at all :)

Show it anyway

Yeah, **** me for trying to make a joke right?

Yes 13, because everyone knows the difference according to what they yell/chant.

Army yells "hooah" Marines yell "oorah." Not sure if the air force or navy has a saying though.

I think the Air Force yells "Aim high" or something gay like that.

49 - Air Force is hooah also. 50 - the only thing the Navy is notorious for is wearing their name tapes on their asses so they know who they're *******. Silly sailor kids.

55 my Grandpa was in the navy, I don't know if you were trying to be funny, but you weren't!

Everybody from the different branches of service make fun of the other branches. It's not that big of a deal, it's just the way it is. However, everybody knows which branch is the best, some just won't admit it. Oorah

Dont dog the air force. They have the very best fighter jets and pilots to fly them. Superior air power, bunker buster bombs, plane equipped to drop nuclear bombs...etc Same as the Navy. Their battleships and submarines are the best in the world.

49. The Navy yells Hooyah. :)

It's: The Few, The Proud, The Marines.

You got to be pretty ignorant to fight for the united states war machine. The rich will always trick the middle class and poor to fight for them. They may be intelligent as in knowledgable... Stupid to kill because the government says it is the right thing. They do not want to do it.

I have to disagree guy. That war machine is what's keeping the fight off of our soil. I'm not saying we are always right Or make the best decisions but I would not say the people fighting for our country are ignorant for doing so.

86- Joining the Marines, by all means, is your choice. People choose to fight for their country because they seek to protect it, and keep it safe for everyone else in it.

One of those things that are freaking hilarious!.. As long as it doesn't happen to yourself.

Do you not remember those grade school years on the playground? I'm sure she used some monkey bars, too

Hehe. His army mates will never let him live that one down.

WatsonIsThatDood 6

No they won't. They won't let you live down a call of duty fail. I know from experience.

WatsonIsThatDood 6

Yeah they don't. And they don't in the Navy either!

Oh i think i saw this one!! Navy Bootcamp graduation at Great Lakes? :)
