Today, I was being driven to get my wisdom teeth removed and I was panicking all the way there. When we got to the office, I was told that I'd been brought in on the wrong day, and that I have to do this all over again tomorrow. FML

Extreme late fees

Today, I had an appointment to pull some wisdom teeth. I wrote the wrong time in my calendar. Showed up an hour late and they didn't pull the one tooth that actually hurts. Now I've got the pay for the time I was late, plus wait until November to pull the rest. I waited 5 months for this appointment due to the coronavirus. FML

Today, I went to the dentist for a tooth extraction. Not only were they not able to extract all of it, but after 7 injections, I was still screaming. The best part? Their referral to someone else fell through, so I head back tomorrow to finish the job. FML

Today, I went to the dentist after 24 hours of severe tooth pain. They did an emergency root canal. After the anesthesia wore off, within minutes, the pain returned only worse than before. Called the dentist, I had to return, only to find they had done the root canal on the wrong tooth. FML

Today, I went to the dentist and found out I still have a wisdom tooth. I got all four out last summer… or at least I thought I did. Now I have to go back and get it removed. Again. FML

Today, after two root canal procedures done on the same tooth in last two years, the tooth had been acting up for a few days, so I went in to get it checked. Turns out, it got infected AGAIN and I gotta get a THIRD root canal done on the same tooth. FML

Today, I went to the dentist to get my wisdom teeth removed. The surgeon took a better X-ray to see what he was dealing with before he got started. When he came back into the room, he started to laugh and told me it was my lucky day because in the X-rays he found 2 big extra wisdom teeth. FML

Today, my dentist called and told me that the surgery to remove my wisdom teeth - which I desperately need and saved for a year to be able to afford - will actually cost nearly $2000 more than originally stated. The surgery is supposed to be in three days. FML

F the parents lives. They are stuck with the kid forever and have to live with the embarrassment and guilt that they are clearly failing in some way at parenting.

Its not as bad as you think it is. They numb you, then slowly pull the tooth out. Not necessarily "if spelled correctly" do they knock you out. Just think, you ll get pain meds later that ll make you feel a lil loopy lol

its not bad. laughing gas is fun. if yours are ****** up enough you'll get sweet pills. I had 2 impacted ones but all 4 came out easy. so I only got motrin and some tylenol 3 with codiene. I didn't even need the pills though. maybe you'll get the good ones.

Grow up, it's not bad. You get some drugs, they talk to you while they're working and you can't feel a thing. If you can't handle a simple trip to the dentist, how will you handle real life?

I got my wisdom teeth out. I was terrified, but my fiancé came with me. She was awesome; took care of me until the drugs wore off and I sobered up. Bring someone who cares about you.
