Today, I was browsing a website where you can talk to strangers anonymously, when I met a guy I really hit it off with. After talking for two hours, we decided to keep in touch, just in time for me to hit the "Next Person" button by mistake. There's no way to undo it. FML

By I'm a fucking idiot!!! And I suck at using discord. Going back to tumblr. - 09/12/2024 03:00 - Canada - Concord

Today, I hit off with a guy I met on Tumblr, and we moved to Discord to chat. We're just friends, but have things in common. Then I accidentally called him while he was driving by clicking the wrong button, because I forgot how to search things up. Now he thinks I'm a creep. Time to build my walls back up again. FML

Ha, I moderated this one on "Moderate the FMLs"

Definitely OMEGLE! For all the dumbasses for said Chatroulette, you're WRONG because on chatroulette, if you dont have your cam on most people wont even talk to you. Omegle makes the most sense out of everything.

I do believe that would be omegle even though it's bad to talk to strangers like that not every single person out there is a sexual predator. just be very careful. I understand ur fml though

It couldn't have been Omegle cause it asks you twice before disconnecting (disconnecting, not nexting). Chatroulette however has a next and no confirmation

Dear Christ. What is WITH all of the negative responses, lately? For crying out loud, are you people really that pessimistic? It's not bad to talk to strangers, you bunch of five year old technophobes. Talking to strangers on the internet is exactly like talking to strangers in real life. There's no reason why two mature adult's can't make friends on the internet. It's a gamble on the internet, it's a gamble in real life. The guy sitting at the bar next to you COULD be slipping something into your drink, and the guy standing behind you at the supermarket COULD be hiding a knife under his jacket. But that's not something you assume, is it? Guess what? I met my fiancee on an art website four years ago. Now we live together. And -- gasp -- I was never raped, nor killed in an absurd fashion! The only reason internet rapists seem so prevalent is because it's so shocking, not because it's happening all the time. Calm down. OP, FYL.

It's certainly something that I assume. Never take your eyes off your drink, and never go out in public unarmed.
