Today, I was chatting with a friend on msn. She told me a few days ago a Halloween party we had been planning was canceled because her parents said no at the last moment. Wanting to cheer her up, I went to her house to surprise her. I guess the party wasn't canceled after all. FML

However, she apparently found out about it and told me at the last minute she couldn't make it, probably to avoid being the center of attention. I'd already invited all of our mutual friends, so I had to awkwardly cancel the party. FML

Today, I was invited to a birthday dinner at a restaurant. As I was leaving, I get a text from the birthday girl's boyfriend saying that it was cancelled. Hungry, I decided to go to that particular restaurant anyway. Turns out the party wasn't cancelled. Half the party just didn't want me there. FML

Today, I went to a surprise birthday party for a friend. Everyone was hiding and waiting to yell "Surprise!" when I got a call from my mom. I was loudly discussing family gossip and trying to get my mom to hang up when the door opened. Everyone yelled "Surprise!" and then turned to stare at me. FML

I hate it when people can't be honest to others. If you don't like someone, friggin' say it. Don't lead them around because your balls are stuffed up your arse and you don't have the gall to say it. Time to find some friends that actually see you as a friend as well, hun. Sorry you're surrounded by shitty people.

God, that sucks. I hate it when people lie about things like that. If you don't want a person there, just tell them. You'd take it better than actually going and everyone giving you blank stares.

If her parents were unaware of the party, you should've taken pictures and ratted her out to them. Or if they were playing loud music, make an anonymous call to the police.
