you didn't ruin your sammich-making hand, did you? if so, you better start working on making sammiches with your off-hand.
Ouchies. o.o That sucks, at least it should heal soon if it's all bandaged up and clean. FYL
YDI for slamming your hand down and not pulling it towards your body. moron.
So, OP, you're a Harvest Moon girl? As in Karen, Popuri, or maybe one of the newer ones? They'd probably be more careful, I think. And FYL: it won't be much fun to play video games with a hurt hand like that.
these comments are hilarious to those of us working 40+ hrs a week in a kitchen for the past 10 years. the op is retarded for not knowing the location of the knife obviously. but you ppl need to get over your fyl holier than though attitude. everytime I get a nice grease burn it's followed by an expletive and if bad enough I will punch my cutting board or slam it with my fist. it's a method of replacing one bit of pain for another. it's also a nice way to avoid bitching about a burn because you realize your an idiot with a burn and a bruised fist. you can't tell me you've never banged your head or a shin real good, been in the wrong mood, and hauled off and smacked something. btw, it the point were up it would be a stab wound as opposed to a cut. and I'm just throwing this out there, may seem crazy, but I work with knives all day everyday, of all shapes and sizes, and in my experience the handles are bigger than the blade, rounded usually(I've never seen a perfect square handled knife), and the blades taper on both sides until you have your thin sharpened edge(it's what makes it a knife as opposed to say, an ice pick), these elements give a knife a natural fluidity making it very easy to imagine how a sudden forceful impact could turn it causing the cut. anyways, I digress, a buzz'll do that to you, fyl op, cut myself plenty over the years, next time be more aware of your surroundings in a kitchen.
