Today, I was convinced by my friends to watch an episode of the American TV show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo". They said it was bad, but I didn't anticipate having a full-blown panic attack ten minutes into it. FML

I have seen some adverts of the above mentioned whales. Now not to be rude but how in heavens name can they make an real life documentary about them? I would much rather watch NatGeo film lemurs traveling from point a to be, UNCUT, than watch these people act like they do.... Im petrified to go to the USA now. Might catch what they have. RED-NECK-ID-NIZE syndrome or fat-o-betes... OP im sure your friend will suffer from PTS soon. Good luck

Now hold on there, not all Americans are like that. I don't even feel like I should have to tell you that. We're not all southern rednecks either, not that all people from the south are rednecks anyway. Don't base your whole view of the US on that one show that was made specifically to show off the crazy things that ONE crazy family does. My point is, generalizing isn't good.

I am just pointing out what most people will think. I have quite an few friends in the US and they are awesome people to say the least. I assure you im the last person to generalize when it comes to people.

Oh I pity you OP. My friend showed it to me one night and I was horrified beyond even the limits of my imagination. How could anyone allow such a horrific display to be aired is beyond me. For some days even the word "Honey" gave me violent shudders and induced mental melt-downs.

Now I had to see it myself. Looked up a summary video of the 1st episode. I considered myself a grown woman...but these 2 minutes made me cry. FML and FYL, indeed.

Who would enjoy that show? So disgusting! That child is going to grow up stuck up, and completely.... -shudders- I still can't believe the mom allowed the daughter to pull her (mom's) hair and ended up in a hair pulling tousle. Smdh
