Today, I was convinced by my friends to watch an episode of the American TV show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo". They said it was bad, but I didn't anticipate having a full-blown panic attack ten minutes into it. FML

YDI, "A full blown panic attack", you really need to grow a pair. I agree it's garbage TV as is most "reality shows" but come on, seriously??

Makes me ashamed to be from Georgia... :/

You and me both! I threw up a little in my mouth when one of my friends told me they lived about an hour from my town O_e

Due to the nature of panic and anxiety disorders, I would say with almost certainty that the show did not cause you to panic but rather you just had a panic attack while watching the show. Remember, panic attacks are random and seemingly without reason. I'd caution against making the assumption that Honey Boo Boo caused your panic attack.

honey boo boo causes me panic attacks. im afraid her and jaba the hut on the show are going to blow my house down. or eat it....

Panic attacks almost always have a reason. It's an anxiety disorder, and caused by whatever makes you anxious. I've never had a panic attack for no reason.

Notice I said "seemingly" without reason. Some people aren't aware of why they panic even though there is something that triggers their anxiety. Not everyone is equipped with the capacity for self-awarness to determine the root of their panic attacks.

I agree. OP is a little over sensitive

Lol I'm from the US and I HATE that show. I'm right there with you!!

I've never watched but heard of the premise. Or at least pieced together a premise. and I have to agree.."wtf america"...really? smh hurts my soul.

If he had a panic attack during this imagine what would have happened if it was jersey shore...

I think a panic attack is a bit dramatic.... I know they aren't controllable but I don't really see how a television show could cause a panic attack, especially one that just depicts white trash in action.
