VHBJ tells us more.
Hi OP Here For those wondering, it was the Fury at Carowinds. I've heard rumors of it stopping a lot, but is been really hoping to beat my fear. My state of mind was millions do this, just think to yourself you know it will end so enjoy the ride. Imagine my surprise when the ride stops. No more coasters any time soon. Thanks for the supportive comments.

You're taking the term climax to an all-new level.
Omg I would we so freaked out when it suddenly start going down. Don't feel bad I've been afraid of rollercoasters since I was 5 and had a horrid experience on one. And haven't even thought of going on one since
I freaked out my first time in front of about 20 middle schoolers. Not one of my proudest moments.
Bet you're at Carowinds!
I see you're writing this from the Carolinas, is the park Carowinds? Anyways, I guess you just got the unlucky odds, but it likely won't happen again!
Damn that's scary OP , hopefully you all made it out safely.
Well if you are writing this at the highest point rather than having a panic attack then there is good news for you; you have conquered your fear.
I once got stuck on the Dinosaur ride in DisneyWorld. I was right next to a terrifying carnivorous dino animatronic in pitch darkness. I'm extremely claustrophobic. It went from being one of my favourite rides to one I'm too scared to go on again.
Dedication!

Did you enjoy?
I feel you on that one OP. I'm not afraid of coasters or heights but I am afraid of the feeling they cause. The stomach in the throat feeling. Every time I ride a coaster I have to keep my eyes closed.
I'm have an extreme fear of heights, I got talked into going on a 0 to 60 rollercoaster. I ended up clinging to the safety bar with my eyes clenched shut. I found out that I love indoor roller coasters, though. Maybe you can try one of those?
If you had the ability to write an FML while at the highest point, it sounds like you stayed there long enough to get comfortable and loose some of your fear. You are probably less of a... fearful person now. You could probably do another coaster just fine.
If you are afraid of the "feelings they cause", you ARE afraid of them. It's not like anyone is afraid of roller coasters but NOT afraid of the feelings they cause.
It sucks that you got stuck because that's a great one to face your fear on!!
I've actually gotten stuck on Fury. Took 50 minutes to get us down. Hope you didn't have to wait too long!
Same here #62, I was terrified of rollercoasters until I tried an indoor one and now I love (most of) them!
Hey OP was how was the reception?

That really sucks but at least you get a good view
Well, you're braver than I am. Cudos on trying.
