Today, I was cuddling my boyfriend on the lobby's couch. We were not paying attention to anything but each other. Apparently, someone tied our shoes together. I stood up and faceplanted into a pool table. I'm now missing two teeth. FML

to be honest, if you were so oblivious to people tying your shoes together, I don't think you were just cuddling and that probably wasn't appropriate in a lobby.

if what they were doing in the lobby was really that inappropriate like people in the comments are suggesting, if they were in a public place then someone such as an employee would have asked them to tone it down or stop and likewise if someone had enough of a problem with it to play a harmful prank they should have just asked the couple to stop rather than playing a prank that would obviously cause physical harm. Tying shoes together in most cases in done to make someone fall down and, shocker, falling hurts with or without a pool table involved. I think this person should file a complaint with whoever is in charge of the place that they were at and check for surveillance and get the jack*ss who did this to pay for the dental fees and hospital bills.

Putting the PDA aside, tying someones laces together is pretty immature. What do you think will happen by doing that? Obviously the intent was for them to fall. If you were disgusted by the PDA, say something to them. Don't do something that could result in injury to them.

Perhaps you should have been paying attention to your surroundings. I'm sorry to say that replacing teeth is seriously expensive. I work in a dentist office and our cheapest replacement in a $750+ bridge.

There's no way you guys weren't sucking each other's faces off like the head crab things from Half-Life. It's definitely terrible to lose your teeth, but the reason that private settings exist is for these things precisely.
