I guess I'm in the minority here in that I too am excruciatingly ticklish and tend to get tortured at length by my gf with some regularity, but I'm a guy. And I have to say: I don't entirely blame her. I understand why my involuntary reactions to her tickling--squirming, laughter--are entertaining to her. I'm programmed to respond in a way that encourages her (and other people, alas) to continue tickling me. It's intolerable and embarrassing while it's happening, and it would be nice if she heeded my pleas to stop a little more readily once in a while, but no damage is done, and as long as she puts up with my verbal teasing I guess I can put up with this from her. (Especially since I have yet to find a girlfriend who doesn't respond to my ticklishness in much the same fashion.) Cruelty is never cool but a little relentless tickling hasn't hurt me yet. Except for my pride.
