suck it up!
Tipping is to ensure promptness. I don't think a driver, who by the way gets paid for delivering food, that takes 55 min to get to my house deserves a tip. Besides, you pay a delivery fee anyway, so **** that
#87 - You do realize that us drivers don't get any of said delivery fee, right? Also, where I work, anyway, we are as prompt as possible. There are other people ordering pizza other than you.
We use *our* gas, wear our cars down, and drive in whatever weather possible to deliever your food to you. Tips aren't just for being prompt. It mostly goes towards gas and towards the cars that bring your food. Waitresses/waiters get more tips than we do and they don't have to drive anywhere. And I
Dude, suck it up. Its not necessary to tip and if you think you deserve more money for what you do than find another job. I always try to tip nicely but when you're expecting it, its just stupid. When someone tips nicely you should appreciate it and when someone doesn't than don't get you're panties in a bunch.
Well actually being a driver does suck I was one for a bit I'm a girl so pol would give me at least 3$ but you put like 5000 miles on your car every 2 mths also a oil change once a month. Not to mention gas. You then will get these cheap lazy fat asses that tip .50 on a 50 dollar order. I quit that
I used to deliver pizzas in the summer. Worst tip I ever got was -$0.17. I got that twice. And I still know where their houses are. Creepy? Maybe. Don't tip shitty, and I don't have to be creepy. For those that don't tip, or tip crappily... I was a nice driver. I wouldn't do stuff to your food if you were a crappy tipper. I can't say anything about my fellow drivers though. The people who were especially nice to me and gave me good tips... I remembered, and made sure their food got there as quickly and in as good condition as possible. Everyone else, well... If I have several deliveries, you'll probably get pushed to the bottom. I'm gonna get a shitty tip anyway. If you can't afford the $2 delivery charge that the restaurant charges, in addition to at least a $2 tip for me as a driver, then don't order. The further away from the restaurant you live, the better you need to tip. Its more gas and its more time for me. What the restaurant paid me (hourly and the cut I got of the $2) ended up going into gas and paying for wear and tear on my vehicle (not even covering that, in most cases). Any money I made was from tips. Oh, and for those that say "Get a better job!" Delivering was the only job I could get. I tried pretty much everything else first, and no one was hiring. Until you have worked for tips, you really shouldn't post anything about it. You don't know what its like.
At least you got money unlike that guy who shoveled a driveway for two hours and didn't get paid.
There was an FML like this but with 7 cents. Odd.. that one probably came after.

They're not actually obliged to give you a tip, be happy you got something.
