Today, I was driving and saw two hot girls on the sidewalk so I rolled down the window to whistle at them. However, I failed to notice that the car in front of me had stopped at a red light. I rear ended the car, the girls ran away laughing their asses off, and now I have to pay for the damage. FML

Pff if a guy whistles or honks or does something to let you know that he thinks you're attractive it's not sexual harassment. I'm a girl and find it flattering, anyone who says it's sexual harassment is a hairy feminist.

I don't find it flattering when somebody honks their horn at me as I'm walking down the street. When people yell to me it makes me uncomfortable. Different people just prefer different forms of attention, I suppose.

@288, because its degrading? Because it should make a woman of any background, age, career, or appearance feel like she's nothing more than a piece of meat to the guy? I don't know... you're a woman, too. But it sure as hell bothers me. I mean, its not creepy that a guy thinks a girl is attractive, its creepy the detached, disrespectful way he's showing it. I remember coming home from an tour with the military and getting whistled at by some guys in a parking lot a couple weeks later. I felt like... "wait, did I just get shot at so you guys could do that? ... great." Guess I should have posted a FML, eh? :)

I'm a girl and I wouldn't go so far as to say that whistling is sexual harassment, but it is rather unnecessary. It makes me think the whistler is full of himself. He may not be, but it comes off that way.
