....Don't play with your pets while driving!!!! I'm sorry but I REALLY don't know any other way to put it. But I hope you and the other driver are ok.
that tree could have been a kid. hope you have a high deductible.
I used to travel a lot with my cat in her cage in the front passenger seat. I wanted to let her out while she was in the car, so that she could curl up on the seat and not be uncomfortable in the cage, and I kept telling myself "I'll let her out next time". Then I had a car accident. I got out of the car by sliding upside-down through the broken window... and if my cat hadn't had her cage, she'd have died from the impact, probably thrown through the windscreen. In the very best possible case, she'd have escaped onto a busy road (which I do agree is a terrible scenario, but it might have saved her) and I'd never have seen her again. Just to say that for safety reasons - yours and your pet's - it's really not worth taking your pet out of its cage.
you are an idiot. letting it sit on your shoulder while driving is beyond ridiculous

Unless you are a pirate then driving with a parrot on your shoulder is not allowed.
So, you got bitch slapped by a parrot?
