This is one of those posts that needs clarification. Why exactly did you get dumped? Did he tell you that he really hates surprises(bad childhood experience) and you didn't listen? Because then you completely deserved it for not listening to your significant other.

I agree with Gspinfan. It's your own damn fault for not listening to someone when they talk about pet peeves and dislikes. Not everyone likes surprises, and some people even loathe them with a passion. But if that's not the case then I agree... that's ****** up... Good luck finding a way to get back at him. (Make sure it's harsh)
