Today, I was eating a bag of almonds I got from the bulk food store, picking off what I thought was stringy remnants of their shells. When I finally got down to the bottom of the bag, I found a silk worm circling around the last almond left of a bag of about 200. FML

Have you ever stuck a silk scarf in your mouth? Absentmindedly sucked on the sleeve of a silk shirt? It was just silk strands, not shit or whatever else you thought it was. At least you found the whole worm and not half of one.

The strands were just silk, y'know, stuff they make clothes out of. Nothing disgusting, and besides, you didn't have any - you picked it all off. No big deal. And you didn't eat the worm either. I've never seen a silkworm before and I'd love to see one. I find it fascinating how they can spin silk like that; I would have sat there watching it rather than post this lame FML.

To everybody telling OP that silkworms are edible..stfu. Edible means its able to be eaten. Alot of things are edible but yu may not necessarily want to eat them. And to the person upset about there only being 200 almonds in a package coming from a bulk store..yu make me vomit for even noticing that. And yes, OP, FYL. That's disgusting.
