I probably should have stated in the OP that I've only had my dog for 2 months, and upon receiving him, he was immediately signed up for obedience training. In fact, he graduated last Monday.

I agree fully. Any person who thinks its okay for dogs to even consider taking people food, especially out of their owner's hands, is someone who has no idea how to train a dog.
Sorry about that OP. And for those of you that insist on telling the OP to train their dog, i have seen them post several times that they are taking it to obedience school. Yes dogs can be trained to stay away, but before the training is over they will still attempt things like this. Also yes the OP may have dog a bit too big for them, but that is no reason not to have a husky if they manage to train it correctly. So please don't judge based off a snapshot of one day. You never know how much training the dog has had/will have. Note: OP also said that they had only had the dog for two months, this means the dog could be a puppy or have had irresponsible owners int he past, not necessarily OP's fault.
Wow. So that dog obviously thinks its alpha fe/male to do that. Assert your dominance.
Are you sure it wasn't a French husky?;D
cannot get the image out of my head.!!
