NEVER feed birds with bread - it is extremely unhealthy for them. Give them some seeds instead. Bread has no nutrients useful for them, so it causes severe malnutrition leading to physical deformities and death.

Once, when I was on vacation, some seagulls were ferociously eyeing my dad and I while we ate pizza, so when my dad was finished with his slice he tossed the crust to a couple of them. They played tug-of-war with it for about thirty seconds before one of them yanked it out of the other's beak and swallowed it whole. We had to watch that hungry bastard swallow, regurgitate, and swallow that entire crust.
