Now YOU feel the pain.
Happened to me and my husband. I got fired for going for a run with my roommate.
You would think that your boss wouldn't mind since it's bringing in business.
So, now its like they force you to go to another gym if you want to get fit with friends? Thats just wrong, and I hope they see it soon.
Yeah. When I was a trainer we were warned about that too
When you are training someone you are not working out yourself, so why wouldn't you workout in your own time. So stupid, hope you get your job back, or a better one OP!
You should file a complaint of some sort, that doesn't seem right to me at all. But like somebody else said, I hope you get a better job and make them regret firing you. Good luck, OP!
This exact thing happened at the gym I work at. The trainer got complained about a lot then he brought in a friend who wasn't a member and was giving him workout tips. Due to the liability issue and the former complaints he got fired. Would be weird if OP was the guy from my work.

Its not like your running a underground fitness club
Imagining this, I would think working out under the table would be quite difficult, let alone training someone else under the table with you.
