Today, I was given the ultimate ultimatum: either I suffer excruciating stomach pains and remain a hostage to the porcelain whirlpool goddess, or I stop taking pain medication and face the wrath of a raging infection in my jaw. FML

Or option 3- go see a reputable factor who will treat the infection rather than just hurl a prescription for Vicodin at you like some two-bit hack. Jesus, I think some "doctors" get their MD degrees out of a ******* Cracker Jack box.

You have to choose between an infection and a goddess? Tsk, you've got to be kidding me, what are you whining about?!

I say try to not eat anything. Or drink. And take the medication. Or ask for a different kind of medicine

There is not always more than 1 medication for everything

There's about 30+ different pain medications though. OP is probably taking hydrocodone and it's making him nauseous. Common side effect for noobs. OP either get switched to a different although stronger med. or just keep taking the one you have now. the nausea goes away once your body gets used to the opiate

I think sitting on a toilet would be better then a raging jaw infection.

Candymaker1 I don't know why you would hate ******* doctors, I mean even if they're bad in bed at least they're rich. :P

Candymaker, SOME doctors don't know what they're doing. That's why I went into a specialty. Primary care docs need to know too much about too much, so most end up knowing not enough about anything As for the wait, I make it a point to be punctual. However, emergencies happen, the 87 year old woman ahead of you may talk my ear off, or I may have stopped at McDonald's for a Big Mac Extra Value Meal just to piss you off. You'll never know.

Did you consider the possibility that he's got the pain medication because it takes a while for the antibiotics or whatever that he's taking for the infection to work?

I luv u docbastard ..OP Ur doc sucks-try meclizine and a full stomach, should help nausea and its OTC

I had to read this a couple times to understand, who calls a toilet a porcelain whirlpool goddess?? LOL... Also, go to the doctor and tell them the side effects. They might give you different medication.

Don't take the painkillers. If you get the jaw infection, you won't be able to eat. If you don't eat, you don't shit. Perfect plan.

Changing meds seems to be a more viable option than your other two ****** up choices
