Today, I was giving a lecture to my class I heard a phone go off. Aggravated and exhausted, I asked everyone to turn their phones off. Then the phone rang again. I lost my shit and spent the next half hour calling my students a bunch of "technology whores". Then I realized the phone was mine. FML

Needs to be new rule at schools or college, whatever the situation is, give the cell phones to the teacher till the end of class, this way they pay attention and not text and disrespect the teacher while he or she is trying to do their job :)

I honestly hate teachers like you... I've had more than one teacher freak out at a student for having their phone on during class, only to get a phone call on their cell and excuse themselves out of the room in order to take it.

hahaha, this happened to me in my physics class. My teacher's phone rang in the middle of his lecture and he stopped and looked around the room. Then he realized it was his phone. lol

#7 my teacher most often isn't near his bag, so i understand how this could happen. Still...if you know you have a phone...it's kinda your fault.
