This is from the Philippines. Not everybody speaks English as their first language.
That's the Philippines and he said BUCKS? It's PESOS!
that means he knows English, just not grammar. Btw he could've paid that much money in the form of pesos.
You could've known that! But was the concert any good? I really hope so, otherwise it would be FYL².
By the way, he didn't really spend $120. He actually spent 120 PhP. Roughly, that's about $2.40. Still, YDI. Bands in the Philippines suck, especially the amateur bands.
It's going "to" a concert not going "at" a concert. GRAMMAR GIRL STRIKES AGAIN!
Maybe you should become Punctuation Girl, since you're rather weak in that area.
Hey, you got to sit front row center to see Kenny G and got to go backstage and stroke his instrument. The hobos who got the free tickets had to sit much further away, but ended up less bored and annoyed.
*facepalm* Didn't your University have flyers and such all over the place SAYING this concert was free? When I went to college and there were concerts, you couldn't turn one corner without seeing it advertised. o_O

Time to take all those tickets and demand payment. :] If that doesn't work, male prostitution is a growing business.
My university lets us go to the concerts there for free. :)
