Your mother insulted my religion! Pungent is one of the Five Basic Elements of Discordianism (Sweet, Boom, Pungent, Prickle and Orange). According to the Discordian calendar, tomorrow is Pungenday, Chaos 18. She's lucky Discordianists don't practice jihad, but she should watch out for pranks and weird messages.
Your comment reminded me of a Chinese term (forgot its name) that is used to describe an explosion of flavor in one bite. Ex: We've all had sweet and sour chicken. But if you pay close attention, you would notice its ingredients also includes-- green bell peppers for the bitter taste and pineapple for the sweet taste etc... It is designed to hit all those flavors you were describing or I "think" you were describing. Haha :P (:
#41--There's a Japanese word, umami, that might be what you're thinking of. And, no, I'm not making that up.
#51 THANK-YOU! Yes! That was the word I was looking for! Okay, so the word "umami" is Japanese not Chinese! :P God you have no idea how difficult it was trying to search for that word without having I clue where to begin! I kinda wanted to throw a dictionary around. (:
The real funny thing about #30's comment is how much the law of fives plays out in it.
Glad I could help.
Dumbass
Anger management classes would be helpful.
Sounds like my buddies mom. Hates to be wrong. She would have done same thing.
Put on a helmet and call her an "ignoramus." Tell her that talking to her dulls your brain as you are restricted to a third-grade vocabulary (assume a defensive posture when you say "vocabulary.")
Your mother's vocabulary skills are repugnant.
In your place I'd pray I was adopted. But hey, at least you are eloquent.

Can you imagine playing scrabble with that nutter? It would be so vapid.
Maybe she should have looked up the definition of "overreaction"
