Today, I was having dinner with my boyfriend. We'd just got our food when my dad walks in, comes up to our table and says, "I didn't say you could leave, you're too young to be dating him", then drags me out of the restaurant. We are both 15, and it was my first date. FML

Sorry but I agree with your father.. you are too young to be dating.. on top of that you went against his wishes and went out anyway.. way to show maturity and responsibilty.. you proved him right and will now have to wait longer to gain the trust to start dating.. YDI

You are too young. So stop complaining. My kids aren't allowed to date until they're 16, and my oldest is 17. I could tell you the results I see at work for dating before 16. They aren't pretty. It goes as far a elementary. Yet everyone I work with and myself have no sympathy for them whatsoever, and neither do the parents. Respects your parents wishes, you're still under their roof, which means by law you abide by their rules whether you like it or not. I'm the same type of parent as your dad. I would be more than happy to drag my 14 year old from their "date".
