Today, I was having dinner with my boyfriend. We'd just got our food when my dad walks in, comes up to our table and says, "I didn't say you could leave, you're too young to be dating him", then drags me out of the restaurant. We are both 15, and it was my first date. FML

We really need some more info; I feel some important details have been left out. Did you sneak out? Because it sure doesn't sound like you had permission. Is the guy 20 years older than you? I have a feeling if we had all the facts, YDI.

just because you go on one date doesnt mean hes your boyfriend...your dad is right. youre clearly too young to be dating!

all out of concern i imagine. but thats still really embarassing.

sorry :( , I can relate- my dad would do the same, and I'm 17! but hang in there, 15 is still pretty young! (I know 17 is only two years older, but what I did when I was 15 just seems like one big memory filled with mistakes and silly ideas) :) and keep in mind that even if it seems like your dad's being controlling and unreasonably protective, its only because he loves you!

You can start dating when ever u want people who think you shouldn't date before your 16 are just idiots

go dad! I would totally do that if I had a daughter. shouldn't be "dating" til you're 17 anyways, I say.kids are still kids and can get into alot of trouble dating @ 15 when yoiu think it's all rainbows & butterflies "love" but really it's just ignorant infatuation. most people won't ACTUALLY know what love REALLY is until their 30-40 yrs old...don't be fooled by your hormones.
