Today, I was helping my friend with her little sister's birthday party. We were playing a game where you get up and switch seats if you've done a certain thing. One girl said to switch if you've kissed a boy. I watched as 18 12-year-olds switched seats with each other. I stayed sitting. I'm 17. FML

Today, I went to a friend's sweet sixteen. Since I didn't know any else at the party I was really happy when the mother told me she sat me next to someone she thought I would have a lot in common with. He ended up being mentally challenged and talked to a sock puppet the whole party. FML

thats really not so bad...i have a friend thats 22 that hasn't kissed a boy. dont think of it as a bad thing...she doesn't. the right guy just hasn't come along yet :) a first kiss should be special

I think it's sad that those 12 year old girls had all kissed boys. I feel that's too young. When you get your first kiss you're going to appreciate it more than they ever did.

It bothers the crap out of me to know that kids are doing so much at such a young age. Kisses, and anything beyond, should be saved for someone special; not 'just because.' Ugh. I didn't get my first kiss until I was 16, and I had dated him for some time before we did. I was making sure I was going to share that moment with the right person. And he was. That is how it should be, in my opinion. I know for a fact 12 year olds don't even comprehend the concept of love (although not many teenagers do, actually hah. but still. Twelve is way too early to be doing anything). -end rant haha-

i didn't get kissed till i was 17...maybe this will be your lucky year! and seriously, i completely understand your pain and insecurity (i had it too), but after you do get kissed it seems a lot less important :)
