Today, I was in a Zumba class with a young woman in her 20s and an older woman in her 80s. I couldn't keep up with either one of them. FML

Today, as a male in his 40s, I went to "mixed" aerobics. I arrived late to find the entire female class had started intensely warming up. Within 5 minutes I pulled a calf muscle and left limping pathetically past a martial arts class. FML

Today, I was trying to exercise more, so I went for a walk. I was quickly overtaken by a middle-aged lady with cankles, carrying heavy shopping bags in each hand. I'm 19, skinny, and apparently very unfit. FML

Today, I went with my girlfriend to the gym for the first time. I knew I was in bad shape, but I bet her that I could lift more than her. Not only did I get my ass handed to me by a 5', 115lbs girl in front of the entire gym, I also have to attend Zumba in bright pink spandex. FML

Today, I'd signed up to try a workout class at the gym. However, as soon as the instructor started the class, I realized it was much more intense than I had anticipated. I ended up passing out and had to be carried out of the class by the instructor. FML

Today, I tried out the high-tech eliptical at my gym. The 70-year-old man next to me who was also using one went faster and longer than I did, and unlike me didn't stop for a break. FML

That doesn't mean anything...dancing and doing dance moves can be more difficult for certain people depending on how much experience they have with dancing. So maybe the old lady's been dancing her whole life? Maybe the young woman goes to lots of dance classes? You never know but don't feel bad OP with a little practice you'll be great. :)

My mom takes that class. I live in Georgia. She took me to the class and I couldn't keep up. Im 12. They are 30,50,and 65.

Aww it's okay. They've probably been doing Zumba for awhile do just keep going and you will be able to keep up just fine.

I love Zumba! Keep at it! It was really hard for me at first (way harder than it looks) but it gets easier really, really fast, and it's such a great workout!
